Mastering Four Steps of Network Marketing

By Al Keranen

Network marketing is all over the place. If you type in that phrase on a search engine, or look for network marketing, you’ll find thousands of websites devoted to telling you how to make network marketing work well for you. All of these sites claim that they’ve got the secret, but in reality, they generally do not. If you’re trying to use network marketing to get ahead in life, and to be your own boss, having people work under you is key. Here are four steps that you need to focus on in order to make your business work well and earn money for you.

Step 1: Learn how to find your clients. Before you can do anything else, you have to know where to find your clients! Quite often friends and family can help you or you can speak with others in the business to get some ideas as to how to find the right prospective clients.

Step 2: Learn how to invite people to look at your opportunity. If you sell things too hard, people are wary. If you sell them too soft, they won’t listen to you. It’s important to practice the right way to invite your clients to look at your opportunity.

Step 3: Learn how to present your opportunity. You need to be able to talk well with your prospective clients. If you can’t speak well now, practice at it! Not everyone is born knowing how to speak well, and if you find that you’re having a difficult time speaking confidently to your prospective clients, don’t be afraid to take a course or two on public speaking. This can be an immense help.

Step 4: Learn how to train your distributors. Once you’ve gotten someone to work with you, it’s vital that they’re trained correctly. If they are trained correctly, they’ll be able to earn money for themselves and for you. If you don’t give them the correct training, everyone will wind up frustrated.

Network marketing can work, as long as you take the right approach to it and learn a few skills.
